How to gain

See how you can amplify your GPR data to enhance weaker responses using different types of gain.

In this video, we will see how to apply filters. The list of available filters can be found under the Process tab by clicking on the plus symbol next to filters. All filters applied to the data can be seen under the Filters section. When selecting a new filter, this will be the last applied filter on the data. By clicking and dragging a filter from the list with the applied filters, the order that the filters are applied can be changed. Note that a filter can be applied more than once. Each processing step has its own parameters to edit, which can be accessed by expanding the filter item. Add the desired filters, edit their parameters and click on the apply button. By hovering over an applied filter with the mouse, the options of Deleting or Hiding/Showing a filter appear. If a filter is deleted, it is removed from the list, whereas if it is hidden it will still appear on the list but will not be applied to the data until Show is selected again. The data from each processing step can be accessed at any moment. At the bottom of each B-scan window, there is a list to choose after which filter to visualize the data. Similarly, you can choose which processing step to display on the slices from the settings under the “Slicing” tab.
