How to wobble removal

See how to remove dc-drift or wobble (wow) noise from your GPR data.

In this video, we will see how to perform wobble removal. If the raw signal shows a lot of dc-drift or wobble noise, which can be visible both in B-scans and A-scans, the wobble removal filter should be used as one of the first filters. Use the show hide A-scan tool from the toolbar to show an A-scan. In order to perform this filter, go to the process tab and click on the plus symbol next to filters. Select wobble removal from the list. This filter subtracts the moving average and you can choose the window size by specifying the number of samples and click apply. To visualize the data after wobble removal, select this filter from the list at the bottom of a Bscan. Now you can see the data before at the top and after applying the filter at the bottom window where the noise has been removed.
