How to change colormap

See how you can change and adjust the colormap of the different data views.

In this video, we are going to see how we can change a colormap. In Insights each window can have its own colormap. First, click on the desired window to make it the active window. In Insights, the active window is surrounded by a magenta box. To change the colormap, click on the colormap icon in the toolbar. Here you can see a list of all the available colormaps. Select the colormap that you would like to use. You can see that this changes the colormap live. You can also select advanced options such as setting the brightness, setting the contrast of the colormap or setting the cutoff in order to filter some values out. We can also set the transparency in order to be able to visualize different elements better. You can click and drag the two vertical lines in order to adjust the colormap limits. You can also select a colormap curve between the available options. Note that all of these options update only the slice and do not change the other elements or windows. Similarly, if we would like to use a different colormap for one of the B-scan windows, click on the B-scan to make it the active window and then select the colormap from the toolbar.
